Proplem Solving

We used place value to vigure out math proplrems. 

Firsy we have to fiure out the math eaquation and highlight the key words.. The proplem was Paul has 92 marbles stored in 3 bags. If he gives 37 marbles to his 2 siblings, how many marbles will he have left.

I started with the ones. 2 - 7 = Not Possible. 12 - 7 = 5

Next the tens 80 - 30 = 50

And the last step is combining our two answers 50 + 5 = 55 Paul has 55 marbles left.

I like doing this because it helps me figure outmath equations very fast.
